PHU CHAIR (2024) is a polyurethane foam chair featuring a TPU coating. Evolving from the Please Hold Up project, first presented in 2021 at Edit Napoli, this new iteration redefines the concept through refined material innovation.
Characterized by essential, sculptural lines and a bold presence, PHU CHAIR reinterprets the archetypal form of a chair through a minimal yet expressive language. The use of flexible polyurethane foam introduces an unexpected softness and tactile richness, creating a striking contrast with its rigorous, monolithic appearance.
Entirely Made in Italy, PHU CHAIR is produced and distributed in a numbered series by Finemateria. Each piece comes with a certificate of authenticity.
