COMFORT / UNCOMFORT is an endless contrast.
A contrast is often something interesting and curious, it’s a reason for discussion. We decided to investigate the contrast between companies and craftsmanships, the result is something contrasting but extremely symbiotic.
The experience is shaped by the active participation of the person.
The chair is aesthetically symbiotic, at first glance it is rigorous and raw, one part penetrates the other, almost painfully.
Approaching the object, the person is pleasantly struck by the contrast in use: the physical interaction is very different. Cruelty is transformed into comfort, the chair welcomes the person’s moods and creativity.
It is a surprise, it wants to excite and leave a memory of itself.
Industry and craftsmanship met each other.
Imperfection is reality.
Beauty is not a conventional notion but it is a mystery to be revealed.
