BEDTIME STORIES IN GIRUM IMUS NOCTE is a research project starring the bed, commissioned by Bolzan, conceived and realized by Finemateria.
The research invites the viewer to explore and search for future psycho-physical well-being. In girum imus nocte evokes the typical feeling of wandering in the dark, as if searching for information that needs to find a way and a light.
The full story, and its becoming, is encapsulated in In Itinere magazine and is completed in the spaces of this exhibition in the form of interviews, essays, films and a performance, developed in collaboration with Cult of Magic, Angela Rui, Carlotta Franco and Bax Studio.
A concept bed brings clay and hemp, materials with strong earthly value, into dialogue. The composition symbolizes our physical connection to the earth as opposed to a more abstract mental activity such as dreaming.
